So many benefits, coupons and discounts can create the impression that Vienna can be “captured” for free- which of course is actually not true.
But if your „conquest“ of Vienna should happen in a reasonable price-quality ratio the stay in our hotel will be the first step in the right direction.
Our central location makes it unnecessary to buy a tram ticket –but better safe than sorry.
To get to the Schönbrunn Palace you have to take the metro U4 so it would be better to buy a ticket for Vienna’s public transport system. In 15 -17 minutes you get there relaxed and rested and able to „get rid of“ your energies on a stroll through the enchanting extensive gardens of Empress Sisi and the zoo.
Its a long and ardous journey to Grinzing, the Prater, the beautiful Danube Island, to the extraordinary Viennese Central Cementary with its famous tombs or to the Kahlenberg with its wonderful views especially if you want to visit it in 72 hours.
And maybe after a long shopping trip in the city center you want to go „home“ in a comfortable way with the bus 57 A right on our doorstep.
By the way – the ÖAMTC and its 17 partner clubs have tested sixteen European City Cards for the first time in 2012: with a successful 1st place for the Vienna Card.
